Current Situation of Seamless Steel Tube Production at abroad

Presented here in the article are the information concerning the construction of seamless steel tube mills as set up recently at abroad,and a general introduction of the world top ten steel tube groups as resulting from relevant mergers and acquisitions and consolidations.The general trend feature of the development of technological equipment for seamless steel tube manufacture in relevant developed countries is analyzed,and identified,i.e.,new patents and products are constantly emerging,whereas no major progress in energy-saving technology for seamless steel tube production is made,and so is any breakout of the technology for hot-conveyance and charge of CC billets.
