Operational Practice of 160t Electric Resistance Heating Furnace for Steel Tube Hot-Galvanization

Described here in the paper are the major aspects of the 160t electric resistance heating furnace for steel tube galvanization,including the characteristics,main design parameters and the material and wall thickness of the zinc bath.In addition,the control method for the furnace body and the existing short comings concerning the furnace are briefed.The years’ operational practice of the said furnace has demonstrated that the size,material and wall thickness of the zinc bath are all proper,and the zinc solution temperature is uniform,which has made contribution to a longer service life of the zinc bath.
