RESEARCH ON TWO-ROLL-ROW COLD-ROLLING TUBE MILL

Introduced here are the working theory and major features of the two-roll-row cold-rolling tube mill. Experimental operations of the said mill were conducted. The results show that the said mill is capable of producing tubes by means of tremendous diameter reduction and W.T. reduction, and making light-walled tubes as well. Final products with sizes as Φ25mm×2. 5mm and Φ19mm×0. 9mm have been rolled, being up to the applicable national standards. The successful development of the said tube mill provides as an effective approach to upgrading existing domestic cold-rolling tube mills.
