INSETTING PROCESS FOR RECONDITIONING OF Φ950mm PIERCER ROLL

The paper involves relevant theoretical calculation and technology with respective to the insetting process for reconditioning the Φ950mm piercer roll without removal of the roll bearing, which was conducted by 170 Seamless Steel Tube Plant, Yegang Group Co. Successful rconditioning of the used piercer roll has prolonged the service span of the roll and avoided possible loss due to changing of the roll,hence,reduced the maintenance cost.
