DISCUSSION ON ISSUES CONCERNING PASS DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURE OF Φ76.2mm WELDED PIPES WITH DUAL-SIDED INCLINE-CURLING FORMING PROCESS

Based on the analysis of the three alternatives for pass design of strip dual-sided incline-curling forming process known as W Forming Process for making of Φ76.2mm welded steel pipes, a choice of the most practical one among the said three W Forming Process pass design solutions is made.In addition, a detailed comparison of the W pass system with some other pass systems is also made here in the article.
