DEVELOPMENT OF Φ98mm×22mm 30Mn2 HOT-ROLLED HEAVY-WALLED STEEL TUBE FOR AUTO-SPINDLE NOSE

The Φ98mm×22mm 30Mn2 hot-rolled heavy-walled steel tube for auto-spindle nose has been developed with the Φ100mm plug pipe mill line, via such technical measures as changing parameters for the piercer roll groove and dimensions of the piercing plug, adjusting the piercing process, using large angle-low RPM piercing speed schedule as well as redesigning the special pass for sizing of the heavy-walled tube.Massive production of the said tube which has all of its quality indexes up to relevant standard has been started.
