Development of PDVSA EM-18-00/10 J55 HFW Casing

Addressing the technical requirements as for a certain overseas HFW casing project which are far more stringent than normal applicable API specification,the PDVSA EM-18-00/10 specification as attached by the customer to the contract is analyzed,based on which,requirements for the materials,the process route and inspection/test requirements for the J55 HFW casing are proposed.And the pipe-making and inspection/test results are also analyzed.Relevant analysis leads to such a conclusion that the final-finished pipe is in possession of good plasticity,strength and toughness,small residual stress,and good groove corrosion resistance,having been in all aspects up to the requirements as specified under API Spec 5CT-2011 and the attached PDVSA EM-18-00/10 specification.
