Computerized Simulation of Law of Geometric Variation of Empty-sunk Steel Tube

Simulation research on empty-sunk steel tube was conducted by means of computerized FE (finite element) simulation method, focusing on the law concerning wall thickness variation and diameter reduction of steel tube being empty-sunk. Based on the research, a calculation formula for a rather wide application scope in this regard is deduced.
