Experimental Research on Heat Treatment Process of N80 Tubing Made of 42MnMo7 Steel

The hot-rolled N80 tubing made of 42MnMo7 steel features high strength and rather low toughness. However properly tempering of the said pipe can get the its strength reduced and its toughness increased appropriately. Tests of the temper process on the said tubing is conducted in different temperatures in a bid to identify the best strength-toughness relationship. The better furnishing condition of the non-quench and tempered 42MnMo7 steel N80 tubing is proposed.
