    Research into Influence by Axial Jet Velocity on Cooling Uniformity of Steel Pipe Inner Surface

    • With the coupled field finite element method,a 3-D model for the controlled-cooling process of seamless steel tubes is set up,and then relevant numerical simulations are generated to study the law related to the influence by the axial jet speed on both arial and circumferential cooling uniformity of the steel pipe inner surface.The results show that along with the increase of the axial jet speed,the axial temperature of the pipe decreases,while the temperatures at the points of the pipe in the axial direction tend to be more uniform,and the temperature variations are the same,but uniformity of the temperature at each circumferential point becomes worse.
