Trial Production of X80 HFW Linepipe

Thanks to optimizing the HFW pipe mill's technological parameters concerning processes of formation,welding and seam heat treatment,the X80 HFW linepipe is successfully trial-produced.The first lot of the said linepipes from the trial production are satisfactory to applicable requirements as specified in API Spec 5L (the 44th edition),having laid a technological basis for further developing more steel grades for HFW pipes in the future.Finally,addressing the shortages as identified in the trial production activities,improvement approaches are proposed.
