Design and Application of Pipe End Upsetting Mould

The dimension design methods for the main def ormation tools such as clamping die, upsetting die and punch for pipe end upsetting are described, the requirements for the upsetting mould materials are put forward, the common failure modes of upsetting mould are analyzed and the detailed measures for improving the service life of the upsetting mould are listed. The pratical application results show that the said design method for the pipe end upsetting mould is of good application value and all products developed using the mould can fully meet the requirements from users.
