Analysis of Roll-bearing Failure of Three-roll Piercing Mill

Briefly described in the article are the structure of the three-roll piercing mill and troubles and failures frequently occurring in the operation thereof. Based on overall analyses of the roll-bearing failure and the site operation observation and trouble-shooting experience, the root cause of the failure was identified, and thus, the failure frequency reduced.
