GROOVE AND GROOVE WEARING OF WELDEDPPE MILL ROLL

An investigation is made on the deformation of the strip under the initial opening groove and groove wearing during the rolling course of welded pipe production.It is concluded that the loading conditions of the material could be improved to reduce the wear degree of the groove by means of plain roll with W shaped groove for initial deformation purpose.
