SETTING OF PRODUCT-MIX OF ASSEL PIPE MILL

The paper summarizes the hot-test and start-up of the Assel pipe mill imported from abroad.Based on trial operation concerning rolling of pipes with different D/S, three rolling modes have been set for the mill, i.e.O.D.expansion/W.T.reduction, equal-O.D./W.T.reduction and O.D./reduction/W.T.reduction, thus the mill's product-mix set up.
