Current Situation and Predicted Development of Steel Tubular Products for Petrochemical Industrial Service

The applications of steel tubes and pipes to petrochemical industry are briefed.It is pointed out that the major problems relating to the petrochemical-service steel tube-making industry include lack of complete standard system,dependence of major supply of premium tubes on import,R & D lagging behind actual demand and manufacturers' deficiency in product quality and service awareness,etc.Also emphasized are the development trend of the petrochemical industry and demand thereby for steel tubular products.
