STEEL PIPE FINISHING SYSTEM CONTROL LED BY COMPUTER

An automatic steel pipe finishing system installed in the push-bench workshop of Zeithain Seamless Tube Works can control the whole procedure by computer from pipe straightening to finished product packaging. The system is of such advantages as equipment optimization, accurate handling, short cycle time and high product quality. The major technical specifications, process features, equipment layout and automation system are presented.
