  • Elaborated here in the paper are the current situation and characteristics of application of the external fusion bonded epoxy coating technique to submarine pipelines.And analyzed are the application process and the drag process associated with the said coating technique.As a result,it is demonstrated that in case of using the drag process of external fusion bonded epoxy coating + bonding agent + polyethylene particles,the anti-corrosion layer possesses very high shear force resistance,and is worth using widely for submarine pipeline purpose.
