Abstract

Strength analysis concerning the stand of the Φ450mm rotary piercing mill is conducted.The result shows that the calculated value is close to the measured value, which means the theoretic basis for and a new analyzing method applicable to design and technical modification of the stands of the rotary rolling pipe mill.
