    PRESENT DEVELOPMENTS OF 9~13Cr SEAMLESS STEEL PIPE FOR THERMAL AND NUCLEAR POWER BOILERS

    • The developments of the thermal and nuclear power generating technology abroad are surveyed. Since the power generating equipments tend to high temperature, high pressure and large capacity, the foreign countries have been developing 9~13Cr steel pipes with high Cr content instead of the current 18~8 stainless steel boiler pipes. The measures to improve high temperature creep rupture strength of 9~13Cr steel are detailed.
