Selection of Inner Burr-cutting Tools for Friction-welded Oil Drill Pipe

Based on the technical requirements for inner burr removal of the friction-welded oil drill pipe,and the basic structure of the cutting tool,relevant main characteristics and technological requirements are compared and analyzed.The punching principle,and advantages and disadvantages of different types of blade edges are described.And the key technical tips concerning operating the internal punching tool during the internal punching process,and the common failure types and reasons thereof are summarized,and accordingly relevant countermeasures are proposed.It is concluded that properly selecting the punching tools via studies on the cutting tool technical parameters and technical requirements will reduce the internal punching failure rate so as to improve the product quality.
