APPROACH TO THE ONE-PASS-PIERCING PROCESS ON 50mm SEAMLESS TUBE MILL

The possibility of one pass process and its product quality and economy for small billets are analysed. It is considered that the above-said process can be successfully completed with effective control of material quality, heating system, mill adjustment, tool parameters and equipment conditions, and also better result can be obtained with the process than that of Mannesmann process of elongation after piercing.
