Application of Home-made Medium-frequency Induction Heating Power-supply System to Tube-end Upsetting Machine

With long-term operation, the German-made medium-frequency induction heating power-supply system used for the tube-end upsetting machine had been functionally weakened, being no longer satisfactory to the need for normal production. A new home-made system of the same kind has been substituted for the old one. Described here in the paper are the main aspects of the said China-made system, including the composition, features and the work principle of the control circuit, etc. Actual operation result shows that the said China-made system is no less than the original Germany product in terms of operation consistency and reliability, control accuracy and protective functions, having brought the user about considerable economic benefit.
