Statistically analyzed in the article are the chemical composition,the tensile property and the impact property of the Φ1 016 mm×21 mm X70 SAWL pipe as used for the Sichuan-East Natural Gas Pipeline Project.Additionally a comparison of the said pipe with the similar pipes imported from abroad for the same project is also made.As a result,it is identified that the former has been of the same excellent level as that of the latter in terms of strength and mechanical properties like low-temperature impact property.
