THERORETICAL ANALYSIS AND CALCULATION METHOD CONCERNING ROLL RECONDITIONING FOR WELDED PIPE MILL

On the basis of the principles concerning groove design and mechnical drive of the Φ114mm welded pipe mill,theoretical analysis and calculation relative to reconditioning the mill roll are made. As a result,grinding the rolls in line with the said calculation can keep the original speed ratioes between upper and lower rolls and between the passes,which will consequently keep the normal operation of the mill and increase the total service life of the roll with repeated repairs.
