Tested are the thread galling,chemical composition,tensile property,impact property,Rockwell hardness and microstructure of the 13Cr tubing coupling to identify causes for leakage thereof.The results show that the properties of the failing coupling meet the related requirements and that the leakage of the coupling and the sealing packer failure to maintain proper pressure are induced by inappropriate operation during the make-up process.
