AN APPROACH TO CALCULATING THE PROCESS PARAMETERS OF THE WITHDREWING & STRAIGHTENING SYSTEM IN AN ARC CC MACHINE FOR ROUND BILLETS

Withdrew resistance, straightening, torque, straightening force and formation rate of the multipoint withdrewing & straightening system of an arc CC machine for round billets are analyzed and calculated, the relationship between shear force, formation rate, formation speed during during multipoint withdrewing & straightening and billet quality after straightening as well as performances of the system are also described,which provided a reference for selection and desing of a CC machine.
