    Study on Billet Heating Temperature of Φ35 m Rotary Hearth Furnace

    • Addressing the problems of the Φ35 m rotary hearth furnace of Baogang with respect to billet heating quality,temperature of billets as heated thereby is measured by the intelligent temperature-measurement instrument (the “Black Box”) to identify the elements responsible for billet heating quality. Based on the data as measured,relevant process procedures such as the heating temperature range and thermal load distribution in the furnace are optimized so as to reduce the billet burning loss,improve the pierced shell quality,enhance the yield and stabilize the manufacture process.
