Abstract

Briefed is the PROFIBUS-DP technology.Analyzed are the network structure,parameter setting,hardware configuration and software composition,which ensure proper data communication between the Siemens-supplied PLCs and converters.Detailed is the application of the PROFIBUS-DP technology to the automation control system for the tube finishing section of the Φ340 mm MPM Pipe Plant.
