CURRENT SITUATION OF DOMESTIC STAINLESS STEEL TUBE PRODUCTION

Presented in the article is a brief introduction tn the domestic sutuation of stainless steel tube production since 1995, involving such aspects as total output, import volume and demand of stainless steel and total capacity, manufacture processes and equipment of stainless steel tubes and pipes as well as existing problems.It is predicted that there will be a great potential domestic market for stainless steel tubular goods and that the appropriate stainless steel tube to stainless steel welded tube ratio for domestic production is 45:55.
