    Study on Performances of X80 Pile Column-supporting Pipe

    • Based on the service conditions of the pipe for supporting the JU2000E drilling platform pile column, performances of the X80 pile column-supporting pipe as produced by a certain domestic company are studied, including metallographic structure, low temperature toughness, fatigue behavior, hydrogen brittleness-resistance, hitting-resistance, high temperature strength and weldability, etc.The analysis result reveals that the said supporting pipe is in possession of such advantages as homogeneous microstructure, ductile-brittle transition temperature as below-80℃, fine weldability, fatigue limit ratio as up to 0.54, excellent fatigue behavior, hydrogen brittleness factor ≤ 60%, low hydrogen brittleness tendency, tensile strain rate as 0.002~5 s-1, percentage elongation after fractare >16%, good hitting-resistance, 600℃ strength factor as up to 0.70, and satisfactory fire resistance.
