Flux Leakage Inspection Method for Steel Tube End Transversal Flaw

Addressing the common problem of inspection blind area in automatic flaw detection of steel tube,a newly-developed flux leakage inspection method is provided,involving the magnetizer installed inside the tube and tube outside surface scanning unit.The work principle of the blind area-free inspection method for steel tube end flaw is described;the structure of the entire inspection system is elaborated,involving such details as the designs of the magnetizer and the probe,etc..The suitability and reliability of the said new inspection method are verified via a great number of experimental analyses.
