Analysis of Critical Issues Related to Planning and Upgrade of SAW Pipe Production Lines

Discussed here are several critical issues as needing attention and related to planning of new SAW pipe production plants and upgrade of the old ones.Accordingly，suggestions for planning and upgrade of SAW pipe production plants as follows are put forward.Any company involving with planning or upgrading SAW pipe production line should first carry out thorough investigation and survey in accordance with its own production scale and development prospects，and must not completely“copy”the existing production line layout of any other similar company，and should also ensure that the designed capacities of the manufacturing and inspection/testing equipment and facilities are sufficient，consistent，and reliable，and the layouts of such equipment and facilities are practical，smooth and human-friendly.Meanwhile，when necessary，automation of the SAW pipe production line should be designed and properly configured，and get all the related equipment and facilities having corresponding rigidity，space and interface，etc.
