Based on analysis of the structure,chemical composition and metallographic structure of the guide disc,it has been found out why the upper edge of the alloy nodular cast iron-made guide disc of Accu-roll mill was crashed by swing of the tube tail end during rolling.Countermeasure have been made accordingly.
