Discussion on Problems Staying with HFW Steel Pipe for Oil ＆ Gas Pipeline Service

Analyzed are the existing problems staying with the HFW steel pipe when it is being used for oil/gas pipeline service. And according,relevant suggestions are proposed. Based on the analysis,it is concluded that the problems are mainly caused by lack of sufficient technological and quality assurance measures,and that the HFW pipe will be suitable for the above said purpose,providing that proper actions are taken,including enough safety margin as taken into consideration when doing the design of the pipeline,selection of proper steel grade,establishing proper technological conditions for the steel coil,and setting up applicable criteria for manufacture and inspection,etc. of the pipe,and making more effort in quality inspection of the HFW pipe.
