Abstract
The finite element method of three-dimensional plastic large deformation is used to anticipate the tube formation with empty-sinking process. The theory of simulation of three-dimensional empty-sinking with finite element method is established, and relevant field variable distribution derived. With the new frictional layer theory, the stable and instable deformations of the tube are analyzed so as to make the working dynamic formation process visible.
