Study on Deformation Resistance of 28CrMo57 Steel

Abstract
Experimental studies are made with Gleeble-3800 thermal simulator on the metallic plastic deformation resistance of the 28CrMo57 Steel,involving actual measurements of the deformation resistances of the said steel under different deformation temperatures,deformation rates and deformation severities,and analysis of the influences by different process parameters on the deformation resistance. The mathematic model for the deformation resistance of the 28CrMo57 Steel is set up with the regression done by means of the Marquardt method. With good curve-fitting performance the said model is capable of producing expected values close to the actually measured ones and providing necessary theoretic basis for calculation of relevant energetic parameters.
