With consideration of the high tide of building up of oil/gas storage/transport systems in the country at the beginning of the 21 century,major aspects concerning the ERW steel tube industry are discussed and analyzed,including the development history and current situations of the ERW steel tube manufacturing sectors both at home and abroad,the manufacturing technology level to meet the market needs,existing problems relating to operation and benefits of the ERW makers,and proposals concerning further development,development orientation and operation strategy,etc.
