Studies on Kiss Pressure of Opening-groove Roll for Straight Welded Pipe

Based on the roll kiss pressure distribution law resulting from the holographic elastic test and with the law of energy conservation and roll compacting theory, calculation of the opening groove roll kiss pressure for the straight welded pipe is made. The calculated value is rather close to the measured one.
