A Study on MES of JCOE Pipe Mill Line based on Proficy Intelligent Platform

Elaborated in the article is the building up of the basic automation system for the JCOE pipe production line based on the Siemens TIA (Totally Integrated Automation) platform. With employment of the standard MES module of ISA-95 and the GE Proficy Intelligent Platform,a solution for designing the MES system for the JCOE pipe operation line is made. Getting the MES system incorporated with the JCOE line will realize the optimization of arrangement,management and decision-making for the JCOE pipe-making process so as to enhance the productivity and product quality of the line via introduction of relevant IT support.
