    • The paper deals with FEM for steel tube continuous rolling and the practical application thereof. With 3-dimension dynamic explicit solution procedure, the metal deformation process can be analyzed and simulated accurately and the process design optimized effectively. During the FEM programming, some reasonable hypotheses and a number of new algorithms were used to make the said programme used with PC operation.
