    Effect by Quenching Temperature on Microstructure and Properties of 25Mn2V Steel

    • Investigated are the mechanical properties and microstructures of the 25Mn2V steels as quenched at different temperatures(850,880,910,950,1 000 and 1 050℃)and tempered at 600℃by means of tensile test,hardness test and metallographic test.The test results show that the 25Mn2V steel presents maximum mechanical properties after being quenched at 910℃.However,along with the quenching temperature is going up to 950℃,its after-quench microstructure is obviously getting coarsened,and its mechanical properties are getting decreased.
